Potassium Alginate, the potassium salt of alginic acid, a natural polysaccharide extracted from seaweed, is composed by Mannuronic acid (M) and Guluronic acid (G). It’s shown white or light yellowish powder, odorless and tasteless, easily soluble in water forming a viscous solution.
Main applications:
Food industry: stabilizing, thickening and gelling agent
Dental: Main element of the dental impression materials;
Cosmetic: facial mask molding agent;
