Properties:
Alginic Acid, a natural polysaccharide extracted from seaweed, is composed by Mannuronic acid (M) and Guluronic acid (G). It’s shown white or light yellowish powder, odorless and tasteless, and insoluble in water
Main applications:
Pharmaceutical industry
Alginc Acid is used as the main material for disintegrants and agent for the new medicine PSS, with the strong dispersing and emulsifying character.
Food industry
Alginic Acid can be combined with many kinds of ions, forming into a series of alginic salts such as sodium alginate, potassium alginate, calcium alginate, etc. It is also widely used to manufacture health food or as health food additives,
Environment protection
Alginic Acid can also be used in water purification processing with the character of strong absorbility.
